From Soil to Sustainability: My Reflections on Sustainable Agricultural Land Management
Recently I completed an online course on “Sustainable Agricultural Land Management” on Coursera. The course is led by George J. Hochmuth from the University of Florida. Over the past few months, I developed a keen interest in plants, gardening, and forestry. Since I already had a Coursera subscription, I explored courses in these areas and discovered this one. Although I am not a farmer, managing what you grow, even in your own garden, and optimizing yield is fascinating to me. Here, I want to share a detailed summary of the course, some key takeaways, and my personal reflections. It is important to point out that the course is from 2013, so rather old.
