I am Thomas, a data scientist with a background in Economics and software engineering, and I am based in Vienna, Austria. After graduating from a secondary school with a technical focus (in Austria we call it HTL) the financial crisis sparked my interest in Economics and so I decided to dive a bit deeper into that area and study it. After I finished my Master’s I worked at the university as a project assistant for a few years, before starting as a data scientist (while still trying to finish my dissertation).
